Joshua Louis Acevedo (31) of Bald Knob, Arkansas passed from this life on Tuesday January 3, 2023 in Searcy, Arkansas.
He was born April 27, 1991, in Searcy, Arkansas; the son of Dana Dollahite and Michael Acevedo. On September 18, 2013 he married the love of his life, Kaylin Acevedo.
Josh was truly a good man. He loved his family and made sure to visit or call them whenever he could. He was proud of his girls, his wife and daughters were his entire world. Josh had many passions in life including, welding, pipelining, and farming. He was employed as a welder with Pipeliners Local 798. He enjoyed farming with his best friend. He was an avid duck hunter, spending many mornings in the woods with his buddies. Josh was very involved in demolition derbies. He often used his welding skills to build his derby car. Josh enjoyed having a good time playing pool and being with the people he loved. He will be missed by all those who knew him.
He is survived by; his wife, Kaylin Acevedo; his daughters, Hadley Grace Acevedo and Kinleigh Reece Acevedo; his father, Michael Acevedo; his mother, Dana (Sam) Dollahite; his sister, Kindell Acevedo; his brothers, Christian Michael Acevedo and Gabriel Acevedo; his mother and father in law; James (Tina) Mcdougal; his grandparents, Shirley Corbit, Ronald Corbit, and Debbie Kellems; his aunt, Michelle Godoy; his brother at heart and best friend, Bryan Robertson; he is also survived by countless friends and extended family.
He was preceded in death by; his grandfather, Dannie Kellems and his grandmother, Hellen Drake Godoy.
Funeral services will be January 11, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Velvet Ridge Church of God with brother Doug Swindle officiating.
Family is 1 p.m - 2 p.m. Josh's service will be welcome to all friends and family starting at 2 p.m. Following the service, the family will then leave and head to the grave site privately for burial.
Those honored to serve as Pallbearers are; David Sexton, Daniel Kellems, Wes Gilbert, Chris Acevedo, Bill Kellems, and Tyler Coates. Honorary Pallbearers are Seth Pearrow and Jordan Woods.
