White County Burn Ban Lifted

The White County Judge’s Office has officially announced that the countywide burn ban has been lifted as of 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 28, 2025.

Residents may now resume outdoor burning activities; however, everyone is strongly encouraged to continue practicing safe burning habits and to remain mindful of weather conditions. While recent improvements in rainfall and moisture levels have reduced fire risk, caution is still necessary to prevent accidental wildfires.

The County extends its thanks to all citizens for their patience and cooperation during the burn ban period.
