Due to ongoing dry conditions and increasing fire danger, White County has officially issued a Burn Ban effective Friday, August 15, 2025, at 8:00 a.m.
Until further notice, all outdoor burning is prohibited. This includes burning leaves, brush, trash, and any other open flames outside.
These restrictions are in place to help prevent accidental wildfires that could endanger property, lives, and our community’s resources.
Please:
Refrain from any outdoor burning.
Be cautious with grills, outdoor equipment, and anything that could spark.
Report any signs of smoke or fire immediately to local authorities.
Your cooperation is vital in keeping our community safe during these hazardous conditions. The burn ban will remain in place until it is lifted by county officials.
