Bald Knob's First Annual "Stirrin' Up the Knob" Chili Cook-Off

The City of Bald Knob is turning up the heat this fall with the 1st Annual “Stirrin’ Up the Knob” Chili Cook-Off, set for Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 2–5 p.m. in the Downtown Courtyard.

For just $10 per person, the public can enjoy all-you-can-eat chili by sampling entries from across the community. Children 10 and under will eat free. Competitors will be aiming for big prizes, including cash awards for 1st and 2nd place, and gift baskets for 3rd place and the “Crowd Favorite.”

Those who want to show off their best chili recipe can enter for a $25 competitor entry fee. Entry forms are available for printing here or can be picked up at City Hall. Competitors may print, fill out, and return their completed forms to City Hall to secure their spot in the cook-off.

The fun doesn’t stop there! After the cook-off, stick around for the city’s annual Trunk or Treat at 6:00 p.m. in the same location.
